P0158 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2, Sensor 2)
The Technical Definition: The PCM detects the downstream oxygen sensor voltage on Bank 2 remains above its normal 0.9V operating range for an extended period.
Common Symptoms: The Check Engine Light is on, fuel economy may decrease, or the vehicle may fail an emissions test.
Typical Fix: Replacing the Bank 2, Sensor 2 oxygen sensor is the most common fix. You should also inspect and repair the wiring harness if it has melted or shorted against the hot exhaust. On some JL/JT models, a PCM software update may be required.
