P0390 / P0394 - Camshaft Position Sensor "B" Circuit (Bank 2)

The Technical Definition: The computer is detecting an intermittent or failed signal from the camshaft position sensor on Bank 2.

Common Symptoms: The Jeep may hesitate under load, kick off the cruise control, disable stability control, and drastically cut power.

Typical Fix: Replacing the camshaft position sensor on the driver's side (Bank 2) is the first step. If the code persists after replacement, it requires a careful inspection of the wiring harness and plug contacts for invisible damage or corrosion.
