P0750 - Shift Solenoid "A" Malfunction

The Technical Definition: The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a problem within the Shift Solenoid "A" circuit, which is responsible for regulating the flow of hydraulic fluid to change gears.

Common Symptoms: You will likely experience a check engine light, harsh or delayed shifting, and the vehicle popping into an unexpected gear or refusing to shift out of a single gear (limp mode).

Typical Fix: Verify the transmission fluid level and condition first. If the fluid is clean and the wiring harness is intact, replacing the faulty Shift Solenoid "A" or the entire solenoid pack is the most common repair.
